Monster Hunter World Patch 2.0 – All You Need to Know!

This is it! Capcom has officially announce the first major update for Monster Hunter World – And it's going to be FREE! That's right! On March 22, 2018, you will be able to enjoy all of the newly added features. Including a new monster, new gear, and many quality of life changes! Here, we are going to detail some of the major changes that are coming to Monster Hunter World.

  • "The Food Chain Dominator" - A New Quest!

Gather all of your hunter friends, you're going to need them! In the new quest, “The Food Chain Dominator,” hunters far and wide will come across a familiar face – The Deviljho! Proceed with caution as this ravenous reptilian is known to be incredibly violent. Some say they have even seen the Deviljho using a large monster as its play toy. You're going to need all the strength you can muster to take down this beast!

  • New Gear!

If you have managed to slay the wretched Deviljho, then reward yourself by using it's materials to craft two all new armor sets! Vangis a and Vengis B have been added to allow the players to show off their hunting prowess. In addition, new weapons have been added to harness the power of the mighty monster.

  • Gameplay Changes

  • Reduced Loading Times
  • New Options when completing a quest:
    • "Return to Gathering Hub"
    • "Disband & Return to Gather Hub"
    • "Select Return Destination"
  • To prevent griefing, attacks from allies will no longer interrupt you while carving a monster. Also, players will be immune to all hit reactions while carving after a quest is completed.
