Fallout 76 beta Release Date for Xbox PC and PS4 announced!

Fallout 76 is just around the corner and Bethesda has released a new trailer along with beta release date details. The beta will be releasing for Xbox One on October 23rd and will open on PS4 and PC October 30th. The idea behind this beta according to Bethesda is to “stress test and break the game”.

Making sure that as many people as possible are online at the same time to test the servers as well as in game bugs and mechanics that aren’t working need to be discovered and brought to their attention. There is a lot that they are already aware of but there are always things that studios can’t find on their own and need the help of the community to discover them.

In order to play Fallout 76 on the PS4 or Xbox One you will need PlayStation Plus or Xbox live Gold Membership due to the fact that this fallout game is an online title. The beta will continue until a few days before official launch which is set for November 14th.

Bethesda also said that they were working on making the progress you gain during the beta transferring over to the full game upon launch so that the hours you put into the beta are not lost.
